June 22-27, 2008 at Columbia University in the City of New York

ONLINE REGISTRATION NOW AVAILABLE

Come join hundreds of newspaper and yearbook students and advisers as they improve their skills, rethink their publications and take part in a learning experience like no other – in the media capital of the world!

The Columbia Scholastic Press Association invites newspaper and yearbook staffs to its 27th annual Summer Journalism Workshop, held on the historic campus of Columbia University in the City of New York.

Each student or adviser participant will be required to register for a particular class sequence, focusing on either writing, editing, management or advanced design for either newspapers or yearbooks.

Registration for this five-day intensive program is limited to 325 participants, with a waiting list to be maintained once the limit has been reached.

Only 30 students per school will be allowed to register for the Workshop (advisers and chaperones are not included in this limit).

Participants (students and advisers) who will be attending sessions will also take part in a special trip to the theater district, for a press conference with current Broadway talent, lunch and a performance of a Broadway show.
