Professional Membership

CSPA offers Professional Membership

Our Membership enrollment site will be available in April 2017.

CSPA offers membership to individuals who have a strong personal interest in scholastic journalism but are not current advisers to student media.

Examples include, but are not limited to: professional journalists, sales representatives for printers, commercial portrait photographers, newspaper in education professionals and foundation officials.

CSPA offers Professional Members the opportunity to share a 20% discount on either the Regular Membership (Critique + Crown consideration + 30 Gold Circle submissions) or the Associate Membership (Crown consideration + 30 Gold Circle submissions, NO critique) for up to three (3) NEW members (they could not have been CSPA members the prior year). You could choose to pay the reduced fee on their behalf, or have the schools make the payment using a unique discount code that CSPA would provide. The discount would only apply for one year and could not be repeated for that publication/website the next year.

If you reenrolled the following year as Professional Members, you can pick another (different) three NEW members to sponsor.

Other benefits that come with the Professional membership:

• All CSPA emails and alerts for conventions/workshops/contests
• Membership certificate on a walnut plaque
• A copy of the special Crown Awards DVD
• Alerts for new StudentPressReview.com postings.

The membership term is July 1st through June 30 of each year and costs $169 per membership. (Professional Memberships are issued per individual, not for groups.)
