CSPA is an international student press association, founded in 1925, whose goal is to unite student journalists and faculty advisers at schools and colleges through educational conferences, idea exchanges, textbooks, critiques and award programs.

1985 - Awards For Student Work Gold Circle Awards - Collegiate Recipients

CSPA presents the 1985 Collegiate Gold Circle Awards


The 1985 Gold Circle Awards drew a total of 12,102 entries from 37 states which represented 1,604 more entries than last year. Individual tallies show exactly 3,200 college and university entries, 8,410 senior high school entries and 492 junior high entries. At its 61st Annual Convention, the Columbia Scholastic Press Association presented 709 awards including 120 First Place Certificates, 157 Second Place Certificates, 136 Third Place Certificates, and 209 Certificates of Merit.
