Columbia Scholastic Press Association presents 25 Scholastic Gold Crowns for 1995

The Columbia Scholastic Press Association announced its top awards for high school and junior high student publications at its 71st annual Scholastic Convention March 17, 1995.

Twenty-five school newspapers, magazines and yearbooks received Gold Crowns Awards, and 51 others received the second highest CSPA award, known as the Silver Crown. The Crown Awards represent the top five percent of publications that are members of the Association during the 1993-94 academic year.

Laura Schaub, chair of the Judging Standards and Practices Committee, presented plaques to those winners attending the convention at Columbia University in New York City.
